Yoga
At Kosha Connection, we are passionate about yoga. We believe every body, despite their age or ability, deserves to have guidance to developing their own practice.
A Variety of Yoga formats to fit your needs.
All Yoga classes can be taught via Zoom or in person in the Twin Cities. All formats can be modified to fit all levels and abilities.
Vinyasa Flow
In Vinyasa, we flow one breath to one movement. Typically following a swifter pace, several poses are strung together to create a challenging sequence.
Gentle Beginners Yoga
Perfect for anyone new to yoga or for anyone looking for a gentle practice. Moving with a slower pace, shapes are easy on the body allowing the participant to utilize their breath to calm the nervous system.
Chair Yoga
Tune into your breath as you move through gentle postures all while having the support of a chair. The participant can remain seated for the entirety of class or choose to stand using the chair as a balance prop.
Yin Yoga
Yoga Nidra
Restorative Yoga
Yin yoga is wonderful for promoting joint health and releasing tension. Using grounded, long held postures, yin yoga gives us the opportunity to work with stillness and silence.
Yoga Nidra, also known as a yoga nap, is a deep, meditative practice that is done lying down. A single hour of yoga nidra has been proven to rejuvenate the body as much as four hours of sleep.
Restorative Yoga is a beautiful practice incorporating restful, long held postures allowing the participant to arrive fully in their being and gentle breath while their body is comfortably supported.
Meditation and Breathwork
Meditation and breathwork are great tools to accompany any yoga or mindfulness practice. Coaching and guidance for both are available.
